20.) "Boom Clap" - Charli XCX

 "Boom Clap" - Charli XCX
This song is from the movie "Fault In Our Stars". It's a very upbeat song, it is an exciting song. While watching the movie when it played it just made your heart go "Boom Clap" it made you feel how the singer felt. Which was exactly the meaning of the song "Boom Clap". It's a love song, and it explains how her heart feels because she's so in love.

19.) "Photograph" - Ed Sheeran

 "Photograph" - Ed Sheeran
Photograph is an acoustic song which the musician is most known for. The song explains that a photograph contains so much memorable moments and it has lots of love and meaning within it. The way the song beats really helps you get in the mood of the song. The voice is calming and soothing, reminding me of how important photographs are. He pours out his emotions in the song. The drums are kind of exciting but have a calm tone.

18.) "Waiting On The Rain" - J Boog

"Waiting On The Rain" - J Boog
The song itself a very relaxing because of how soothing the artist's voice is and how soft the beat of the song is. The song explains that when she left him, he felt insane and memories never left him. All he feels he can do is wait for her to come back to him. He relates "waiting for the rain to fall" because there is no rain in the summer time where he is located, which means he will be waiting for her for a very long time.

17.) "Ain't It Fun" - Paramore

 "Ain't It Fun" - Paramore
This song is super fun to listen to. It's beat and lyrics can bring up my mood any day. This song explains how fun the real world is and how great life is when the world is opened up to you. The artists sings about how its fun to be on your own and not having to count on anyone. Its inspiring to hear it from my perspective because I have yet to figure out what its like on my own in the real world and she makes life sound like there are endless possibilities and opportunities. The song is just exciting even though I have a while to be on my own, but its definitely inspirational.

16.) "Latch" - Disclosure

 "Latch" - Disclosure
Latch is such a fun and carefree song that makes me want to dance every time I hear it. The artists voice is what separates everyday music to this particular song. The uniqueness in his voice gives a majestic feel to the song. The way the song is chopped up gives it two different moods. When the song is more flat you feel more calm but when the "beat drops" it gives a whole other type of excitement to it.

15.) "Love Never Felt So Good" - Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake

"Love Never Felt So Good" - Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake
This song is a perfect combination of old and new. The Michael Jackson style never gets old with me and with the addition of Justin the song comes together perfectly. It is such an easy song to dance to and just have a great time to with the smooth but quick beats. The lyrics 'love never felt so good" are words that put a smile on your face no matter how old you are. It was a great idea to put these two artists together in one song.

14.) "Not A Bad Thing" - Justin Timberlake

"Not A Bad Thing" - Justin Timberlake
This song by Justin sort of sounds innocent, such as a teenage love story. Its much more respectful than many love songs now a days. His motive in the song is to convince a girl that its not a bad thing to fall in love with him and to persuade her to stop looking for someone else because what they have is fate. Its a more appropriate song that is easy to listen to in any type of crowd. Its not something that you can easily dance to but its definitely a fun song to sing along to.

13.) "Pills n Potions" - Nicki Minaj

13.) "Pills n Potions" - Nicki minaj
I've never been a huge fan of any of Nicki's songs, but this song shows a whole other side of her. Rather than trying too hard to rap and changing her voice to make her songs sound interesting, Nicki was able to make Pills n potions sound like a classy song. Even though the lyrics don't mean anything great or memorable, the song is one of those songs I would want to hear on replay when I am in a good mood. The softness in her voice is what made this song so much different than all of her previous ones.

12.) "Hands On You" - Florida Georgia Line

"Hands On You" - Florida Georgia Line
The song is in the genre of country. It's about him waiting all this time for that special girl and he would do just about anything that she wanted him to. His voice is soothing. The beat is mostly the guitar and that's what makes country so different and unique is the guitars and rhythm. It's a young and fresh song. Hands On You is one of those songs that I can raise the volume to and just sing my heart out to. In a way it makes me feel refreshed and calm.

11.) "Smart Phones" - Trey Songz

 "Smart Phones" - Trey Songz
Smart Phone only interests me because of its beat and rhythm. The story behind it isn't a good one but its a song that I sort of block out the lyrics to and just listen to the actual music behind it. If I were to pick out the meaning of the song it is a story about a guy who cheats on his loyal girlfriend and accidentally calls her while doing so. She is able to hear another girl in the background which makes the guy worried and he decides to go see her face to face to tell her whatever will make things better. If it weren't for the song's great beat and the artist's voice I wouldn't care for this song at all because it pretty much states that if you cheat on your significant other or do something of that sort, that its OK if you lie, as long as it makes things better, which is NOT the case.

10.) "Gotta Be Strong" - J Boog

"Gotta Be Strong" - J Boog
The genre reggae is relaxing and soothing to me overall, but the lyrics behind this song in particular always get my attention. With the great lyrics and wonderful beat, J Boog is a memorable artist. The song explains that one has be wise and strong to stand up and to look for peace and not for war in poeple. Also that people need to unite rather than be separated and ignored. The main lyric that I love is "got to make the world a better place" which is a valid statement.

9.) "Can't Raise A Man" - K. Michelle

 "Can't Raise A Man" - K.Michelle
This is a song about her saying her man got older but never grew and once a man lies or does something childish, you can't fix it because he wasn't raised right and you can't teach him now. This song has personal meaning behind it and I'm sure many people can relate to it. Can't Raise A Man makes so much sense because once someone has grown into their own ways no matter how hard you try you cant change them.

8.) "Bailando" - Enrique Iglesias

 "Bailando" - Enrique Iglesias
Enrique has been known for amazing Spanish and English music and he hasn't disappointed yet. I like listening to this song when I clean or workout because its very upbeat and it increases my energy due to the energy behind the song.  It makes you want to listen to it repeatedly. I've always been a fan of Enrique so when a new great song comes out of his I definitely have it on replay. This song is pretty common at Portuguese festas even though its Spanish but it is a great song to dance to.

7.) "Break The Chain" - Lupe Fiasco

"Break The Chain" - Lupe Fiasco
This song is about working hard to get to the top and if he continues to put in work every day, one day he hopes it will all pay off and success will reward him.  I usually listen to this song in the shower or doing some work because it relaxes me and gives me motivation. This author is known for rapping , but its also featuring Eric Turner.

6.) "Mosa Asi Voce Me Mata" - Michel Telo`

"Mosa Asi Voce Me Mata" - Michel Telo`
Because it is a Portuguese song I hear it very often, which I am totally OK with. I enjoy listening and dancing to this song because it is very upbeat and fun. The one interment that I feel that really works well in the song is the accordion. Without the instrument I don't think it would have the same vibe. Michel Telo is a great artist and I am starting to notice his music being known to many more people.

5.) "Candy Rain" - Anthony Lewis

 "Candy Rain" - Anthony Lewis
This song can get anyone up and dancing. The lyrics don't have much meaning besides when your love is so strong for someone you tend to do anything for them. The beat of the bass is powerful and it gets you hyped up. The piano in it makes it intense and breaks up the instruments a little bit.

4.) "Rude" - Magic

 "Rude" - Magic
Rude explains about the difficulty of asking a girl's father for the permission to marry her but the dad doesn't give him his blessings. However, no matter how many times the father says no and that it wont happen the artist keeps insisting that he will marry her anyways. The artist question's why the father has to be so rude and wants him to realize he's human too. The beat is very fast and its ties in with the words well. It kind of sounds a little reggae, which is cool because it introduces a taste of the genre to those who don't listen to reggae.

3.) "Fragile" - Tech n9ne

 "Fragile" - Tech N9ne
Fragile has a raspy rhythm which makes it a calming and a relaxing song. The lyrics of the main chorus is very simple which makes it easy to catch on and sing along to it. The song is very deep and passionate in the manner the artist sings it. The song tells a story about someone who is passionate about being a musician but is unaccepted by his peers. The musician doesn't want to change himself for others' acceptance but he is very "fragile" to the feedback he gets from his hobby.

2.) "Crazy" - Kat Dahlia

 "Crazy" - Kat Dahlia
This is a song that explains when someone walked out of her life and there was a opportunity for someone else to come in, all her pain went away and she asked herself if she was crazy for forgetting all that happened and just moving on so easy. She takes her words very deep. You can hear her pouring out her feelings in the song. This song can be relatable to many people that are not sure if moving on quickly is the right or wrong thing to do in a dark situation.

1.) "Play It Again" - Luke Bryan

"Play It Again" - Luke Bryan
The country song is about him falling in love with a girl that has been waiting all night for a certain song to come on the radio and when it does they dance to it and they both just want it to play it again and again. When I hear the song and listen to the lyrics I can actually picture a couple waiting all night listening to the radio and when the song finally comes on the two dance to it together. At the end of the song he actually picks up his own guitar to sing to her the song which ends the song perfectly.
